A B2B pilot should test a business outcome in a limited setting. It needs an agreed scope, a customer sponsor and a measurable starting point; installing the software alone does not prove success.
Choose one workflow and identify the data, integrations and people it requires. Define the evaluation period, support boundaries and acceptance criteria with the customer. Record conditions that would stop the trial, including data access or security concerns.
Compare the outcome with the baseline and describe any limits in the evidence. Decide whether to expand, repeat the test or stop. A pilot report should include the effort needed to operate the product as well as the result it produced.
