Product-market fit describes a pattern in which a defined customer group repeatedly obtains enough value from a product to keep using or buying it. There is no single metric that proves it for every business.

Look at retention, repeat purchase, customer referrals and the effort needed to close and support sales. Study these signals by segment and cohort. Rapid acquisition can hide churn, while strong use in a narrow segment may justify a more focused strategy.

Ask which customer outcomes the product reliably delivers and which still depend on custom intervention. Continue testing price and delivery economics. Evidence of fit should guide expansion, not become a reason to stop listening to customers.
