Customer validation asks whether the proposed solution addresses a problem that people act on. Positive feedback is useful, but it is weaker evidence than repeated use, a paid trial or a concrete purchasing step.
Recruit people who match the intended customer profile and ask about recent examples of the problem. Avoid leading questions that describe the answer the team wants. Test a realistic offer with the effort, price and limitations visible.
Record what would disprove the hypothesis before starting. Compare interview evidence with behavior during the trial. If customers do not proceed, investigate the reason instead of treating every objection as a feature request.
